Lucas is the main protagonist from the third installment of the Mother series, Mother 3.
Background[]
Lucas is the son of Flint and Hinawa and brother of Claus along with a dog named Boney, living happily in Tazmily Village on the Nowhere Isles. However on one fateful day, the woods where the family stayed caught on fire. Lucas and Claus lived through, but their mother Hinawa died from a mutated Mecha-Drago suddenly attacking her. Two years pass since then, and Claus had suddenly gone missing. With his discovery of PSI powers, Lucas and his team traverse through the land to stop the growing Pig Army, a mysterious masked man, and leader Porky Minch.
Powers and Abilities[]
- PK Love: Lucas' iconic move that only he can use. It is extremely powerful and deals damage to all nearby enemies.
- Lifeup: Restores a portion of Lucas' health.
- Healing: Removes status ailments.
- PK Flash: An extremely powerful move that can cause instant death, make enemies cry, make them feel strange or become numb.
- Refresh: Restores a partial of Lucas' HP over time.
- Shield: PSI that halves incoming enemy damage.
- Counter: Reflects back any physical offensive move.
- PSI Shield: It protects Lucas from enemy PSI-based attacks.
- PSI Counter: Reflects PSI damage thrown at Lucas.
- OffenseUp: Boosts Lucas' offensive potential.
- DefenseUp: Boosts Lucas' defenses.

- Stick: An average, wooden stick; can be used as a melee weapon.
- Franklin Badge: A reflective badge said to be used by Benjamin Franklin that reflects all Thunder PSI.

- Could also take attacks from Porky Minch

- Led an entire group throughout his adventure
- Mastered PK Love, something even the Magypsies (who are also PSI wielders) could not do easily.
Weaknesses[]
- Cowardice: Lucas can be terrified or even cry by being too afraid to confront danger at some times, but it can be understandable why.
Fun Facts[]
- Lucas and Claus' names are anagrams of each other.
- Lucas was originally planned to be in the cancelled game EarthBound 64 as the main protagonist.
- He was also going to replace Ness in Super Smash Bros. Melee if the game ended up releasing.
- Lucas when non-playable has his own dialogue unlike the other Mother protagonists.
